I am a board certified primary pediatrician with an 8 year clinical experience. I am fluent in Spanish; currently providing medical care of about 80%-90% public aid recipient-population (predominantly Hispanic population) in the Elgin and East Dundee, Illinois. It has been a rewarding experience to be an advocate to my patients and their families. Building good rapport/relationships, communicating well, and patient recruiting from prenatal classes are among my strengths as well keen medical acumen.
I completed my residency at University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003. My clinical skills include: inpatient care (managing patients as primary care provider as well as a pediatric hospitalist), outpatient care (administering vaccines, splinting, etc.) I have also fond supporter for promoting breastfeeding in the office as well as promoting childhood literacy program known as “Read Out and Read”, where I raised $15,000 for a federally health qualified clinic in Elgin.
